Mantegaftot Sileshi Siyoum’s first short film has been officially selected as a winner in 2018 AfriKa Film festival, Leuven, Belgium and got first Award Golden Yafma; Sembene Ousmane ZIFF 2017 winner; a finalist at Interfilm festival- Berlin, at Silicon Valley Film Festival in California, and world Cinema Amsterdam; it also represented #Ethiopia at FESPACO 2017 short film competition category as a finalist in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Winner of the 9 river film festival, Padova, Italy 2015.
